At the Bavarian Aerial Photography Center, you can experience the whole of Bavaria from an unusual perspective - a bird's eye view. The exhibition provides information on all aspects of aerial photography. It presents fascinating insights into over 150 years of the history of aerial photography and shows the many different ways in which aerial photography can be used. Hands-on stations make the visit a special experience.
The Bavarian State Aerial Photography Center consists of the Bavarian State Aerial Photography Archive and a permanent multimedia exhibition on the history of aerial photography. Extensive services are also offered.
The University of Passau offers a wide range of courses in the humanities, social sciences and economics. A media station for the Bavarian exhibition was created in collaboration with a student seminar from the Chair of Bavarian Regional History and European Regional History.
Bayerischer Rundfunk is a public broadcaster in Bavaria that produces and broadcasts radio and television programs. BR's task is to provide independent programs for the entire population that inform, educate, provide orientation and entertain. BR produced a film on the subject of the Bavarian Exhibition 2024, which can be seen in the museum.
According to its statutes, the "Freundeskreis Haus der Bayerischen Geschichte e.V." has the task of promoting the work of the Haus der Bayerischen Geschichte (HdBG), which has been in existence since 1983. This objective is achieved by providing financial support for a wide variety of projects. The Friends also support the exhibition "Ois anders: Großprojekte in Bayern 1945-2020".
