How Bavaria became a Free State and what makes it special: the House of Bavarian History has designed a unique exhibition at the museum in Regensburg that explores this question. The focus is on the 19th to the 21st century. With a multivisual panorama, the museum ties in with the monuments of the city of Regensburg and the prehistory - from Roman times to the end of the 18th century. In the permanent exhibition itself, the history of Bavaria from the beginning of the kingdom to the present day is told over 2,500 m² in the succession of generations:
In addition to the chronological tour in generations, eight cultural cabinets point out cultural peculiarities with which Bavaria is associated.
