Museum building
- Public disabled parking spaces are available near the southern entrance
- Barrier-free access to the museum building, central points in the foyer (ticket office, information desk, sanitary facilities, checkroom, elevator) and to the permanent exhibition
- Floor indicators in the foyer
- Induction loops in the entire ground floor area
Permanent exhibition
- Services for the visually impaired and blind: freely accessible tactile objects and threshold images in the exhibition with Braille and relief lettering
- High-contrast tactile maps
- Services for the hearing impaired and deaf: sign language videos on key content, loan of neck ring loops
- Services for people with speech comprehension difficulties: audio guide in easy language on the media guide
- Barrier-free design of the exhibition tour (no floor indicators)
- Fixed seating, mobile stools and wheelchairs, barrier-free presentation of objects through appropriate display case height and adapted usability of media stations.

Persons: max. 5 persons (plus accompanying persons)
Price: regular € 7/ reduced € 5 (for severely disabled persons from 50 % on presentation of ID, one accompanying person is free) plus € 5 per person. Guided tour fee
Duration: approx. 90 minutes
Experience Bavaria's history up close! In the guided tour for blind and visually impaired visitors, tactile images, tactile objects and listening and smelling stations provide direct access to selected topics in the permanent exhibition. Join us on a journey from the beginnings of the kingdom to the present day.
Admission prices and tour costs
- Reduced admission on presentation of appropriate ID; free admission for one accompanying person
- Free loan of the media guide (sign language, easy language) on presentation of appropriate ID
