The war memorial for the fallen soldiers of both World Wars - an obelisk, with an Iron Cross on top and two plaques to each side - is situated in a small complex to the left of the Hauptstraße (B14). The following inscription can be found on the right side of the obelisk (memorial for the fallen soldiers of World War I):

(erected in 1926 by the community of Waidhaus in honouring memory for the 64 victims of the World war 1914-1918)

DES ZWEITEN WELTKRIEGES 1939–1945

(in addition for the victims of World War II 1939-1945)

On the front side, among the names of the fallen soldiers of 1915, you will f ind the name of the Jewish soldier:
