The memorial site for the fallen soldiers of the wars in 1870/71, 1914/18 and 1939/45 in Unselben consists of several monuments and is situated between the local church and the cemetery. On the monument that is decorated with a Bavarian lion, below the date 1914-1918, you will find the following dedication:

Die dankbare Gemeinde Unsleben ihren Gefallenen Söhnen
Sie waren bereit für Gesetz und Vaterland zu sterben
Ehre ihrem Andenken!

(the grateful community of Unsleben to their fallen sons. 
They were prepared to die for the law and the country. Honoured be their memory!

On the right and on the left side, below the inscription:

Den Heldentod starben

(they died a heroic death)

the names of the fallen and missing soldiers of the village are listed, among them the following Jewish soldiers:
