In Traunstein, there is a "Kriegergedächtnisanlage" for the fallen soldiers in the municipal park, which center is formed by the church of St.Georg and Katharina. The grounds used to be the municipal cemetery that was closed down in 1920.

Until the sixties, a wooden plaque with names commemorated the fallen soldiers of World War I. In november 1995, a commemorative book for the 275 citizens from Traunstein who were killed in the war 1914-1918, was presented to the public by Oberstleutnant a.D. Franz Arsan. In this book, you will find the name of the Jewish-German soldier:
