| The war memorial for the fallen
soldiers of both World wars in Trabelsdorf is situated on Bamberger Straße,
opposite the Schloß-Apotheke. On the front-side of the monument, that has
the sculpture of a soldier on its top, you will find the following
inscription: SIE
SCHUETZTEN DIE HEIMAT 1914 1918
(they protected the country 1914 1918)
On the right side, below the inscription:
Im Weltkrieg 1914 – 1918
fielen für das Vaterland: Von Trabelsdorf ...
(those from Trabelsdorf who fell for their country in the World War
1914-1918),
the names of the fallen soldiers are listed,
among them the Jewish-German soldier:
