The war memorial for the fallen soldiers of both World Wars from Sulzbürg is situated on Badberg, above the village. Four plaques on the base of the monument list the names of the fallen soldiers of the two wars. On the plaque on the front, dedicated to the victims of 1914-1918, you have the inscription:

UNSERE IM WELTKRIEG 1914 – 1918 GEFALLENEN HELDEN VON DER DANKBAREN GEMEINDE

(to our heroes who died in the war 1914-1918, the grateful community)

Among the names of the fallen, you will find the following Jewish soldier:

On the plaque on the left side, below the dedication:

Verstorben an den Folgen des Krieges 1914/18

(those who died of the consequences of the war)

you will find a further Jewish victim of the war:
