Th commemorative plaque for the members of the Jewish congregation of Straubing is to be found on the left outer wall of the synagogue, on Wittelsbacher Straße 2. Below a large star of Davis, you will find the dedication:

1914 – 1918 Zum ehrenden Gedenken an unsere
im Kriege gefallenen Helden

(1914-1918 In honouring memory of our heroes who fell in the war)

In 1963, the historic "Straubinger Pulverturm" "Am Kinseherberg" was inaugurated as the official memorial for the fallen soldiers of World War I and II and for the victims of the nazi-regime. Inside the tower, a memorial plaque was put up, on which the names of the fallen soldiers are listed. Below the inscription: 

DIE OPFER DES ERSTEN WELTKRIEGES 
(the victims of World War I

all the victims of the war are listed in chronological order, among the names we find the following Jewish-German soldiers:

On the Jewish cemetery on Thomasweg, the gravestone of ALFRED ADLER s.A. geb. 13. Mai 1905, gest. 19. Dezbr.1926, commemorates his brother with the following inscription:
