In Schwabach, the war memorial
for the fallen soldiers of World war I is situated in the northwestern part
of the city park, not far from Eisentrautstraße (easy to find from
Bahnhofstraße, from where the memorial can be reached through an entrance
with two Bavarian lions). Below the sculpture of a warrior with a broken
sword and the following dedication:

Gedächtnis + 1918 +
(+1914+ in honouring memory+1918+)
the names of the victims of World War I are
listed (today hardly readable), among them the Jewish soldier:
