In Prichsenstadt, the war
memorial for the fallen soldiers of both World Wars is to be found next to
or to be precise, on the cemetery. A cemetery wall with an entrance door was
transformed into a memorial. Whereas to the right of the door, you will find
an Iron Cross, to the left, the names of the fallen soldiers of World War I
are listed on two square stones that are fixed to the wall (a bit further to
the left, there is a memorial for the fallen soldiers of World War II).
Below the inscription: WIR KÄMPFTEN FÜR EUCH (we fought for you), the
names of the soldiers from Prichsenstadt who did not return from the war are
listed, among them the names of the Jewish fallen soldiers: |
