In Kulmbach, the war memorial for the fallen soldiers is to be found on the edge of the old cemetery, on Pestalozzistraße. In the center of the well kept complex, there is the statue of a knight, on the high plinth, you will find the dates 1914-18 and 1939-45.

To the left and the right of the statue, there is a wall with large commemorative plaques, on which - in chronological (the years of war 1914-19) and alphabetical order - the names of the victims are listed.

On the left plaque, under the inscription: DEN KRIEGSTOTEN EIN EHRENDES GEDENKEN (to the victims of war in honouring memory) and the year 1915 the name of the Jewish fallen soldier:

can be found. On the right plaque, with the dedication: UNS LEBENDEN ZUR MAHNUNG: HALTET FRIEDEN (as a reminder to the living: keep peace), under the date 1918-19, you will find the name of a further Jewish victim of the war:
