Grossostheim

In Großostheim, in 1922 a missionary monument was put up on the northern wall of the katholic church of St.Peter and Paul. Next to it, plaques of sandstone were also put up, listing the names of the fallen soldiers of World War I. Among the names of the soldiers who died in action, the Jewish-German soldier:

On the public memorial that was put up in 1939 (renovated and reorganised in the seventies) by the community, the name of Abraham Schloßis not listed:

But the name appears again in the "Bachgau-Museum" of Großostheim. There you will find a commemorative plaque for the fallen and missing members of the community, that was put up shortly after 1918, showing the name and the fotography of A. SCHLOSS.
