| In Goldbach, there is a war
memorial that was erected in memory of the fallen soldiers in1922. The
monument, a plain round temple, is situated next to St.Nikolaus church, on
the Hauptstraße, in the center of the village. It is connected with the
church building by a flying buttress. On five plaques, you can read the
names of the fallen soldiers, among them in the year 1916, the names
of the two Jewisch-German soldiers: |
