| The war memorial for the fallen
soldiers of the two World Wars of Gnochsheim - consisting of two parts - is
situated in a grove on Friedhofsstraße, near the public cemetery. A memorial
stone, with two metal plaques, stands up right in the back of the complex.
On the plaque to the left, below the dedication:
DIE GEMEINDE GOCHSHEIM
IHREN IM WELTKRIEGE 1914–1918 GEFALLENEN SÖHNEN
the names of the fallen soldiers
are listed, among them the two Jewish-German soldiers:
