In Forchheim, the war memorial for the fallen soldiers of World War I is to be found at an old house, behind the "Kriegerbrunnen", near the townhall. Below the inscription:

FÜR . DEUTSCHLANDS . EHRE . FREIHEIT . FIELEN . IM . WELTKRIEG 1914 . 1918

 (they were killed in action for the honour and freedom of Germany 
in the World War 1914-1918
),

 and a military symbol, on three commemorative plaques, the names of the fallen soldiers from Forchheim, who died in World War I, are listed in chronological order. Among the names you will find the following Jewish-German soldiers:
