The public war memorial for the fallen
soldiers of both World Wars is to be found on the crossing of Buschelberg-
und Kölberbergstraße, next to the Waldfriedhof. Below the sculptures of two
soldiers, you will find the following inscription:
ZUR ERINNERUNG AN DIE
GEFALLENEN IM WELTENKAMPFE 1914 – 1918 ERRICHTET VON DER GEMEINDE FISCHACH
1914 – 1918 GEFALLENE DER MARKTGEMEINDE FISCHACH 1939 – 1945
(in memory of the fallen soldiers of the
world war 1914-1918 / erected by the community of Fischach 1914-1918 /
fallen soldiers from Fischach 1939-1945)
