The war memorial for
the fallen soldiers of both World Wars at
Emertzhofen is to the right of the entrance of the
local cemetery on the road to Uffenheim. Below an
Imperial Eagle, a stell helmet and the following
inscription: Die Gemeinde Ermetzhofen in
Dankbarkeit ihren tapferen Helden gefallen im
Weltkrieg 1914 – 1918 (the village of
Ermertzhofen in grateful memory of its brave heros,
who died in the World War 1914-1918), the names of
the fallen soldiers are listed, among them the
Jewish-German soldier:
