In the town of Bad Königshofen, in
Grabfeld, there is a war memorial, that was erected on the 5th
of august 1929, in the "Rost-Anlage", opposite the cemetery, at
the entrance of the town from the direction of Schweinfurt.
Among the many names of the victims of the two World Wars that
are written on two plaques, fixed to the wall, in front of which
there is a monument in form of a lion and the inscription:UNSEREN
TOTEN 1914 – 1918 und 1939/45 Opfer des
Weltkrieges 1914 – 1918 der Stadtgemeinde Bad Königshofen
(To our dead 1914-1918 and 1939/45 victims of the World War
