The war memorial for the
fallen soldiers of both World wars, consisting of several
memorial stones, is to be found between the two churches,
opposite the townhall, on the "lake" in "Seestraße", in the
former village of Aschbach, which now forms a part of
Schlüsselfeld. The commemorative plaque has the inscription."
GEFALLENE UND VERMISSTE DER GEMEINDE ASCHBACH 1914 – 1918
(Fallen and missing persons of the village of Aschbach
1914-1918). On the left plaque the names of dead people from
Aschbach of World War I are listed, among them that of the
Jewish-German soldier
