Altenkunstadt has a war
memorial for the victims of the two World Wars in form of a
sculpture that is
situated next to the church in Geistl. Rat-Quinger-Straße. The
right side of the column lists, in
chronological order, the victims of the two World Wars.
The upper part lists the fallen soldiers of World War I. In the
year 1917 the name of the Jewish-German soldier
FREUDENTHAL KARL
can be discovered.
To the left of the sculpture there is a square column with the
inscription:
UNSEREN GEFALLENEN UND VERMISSTEN
(to our fallen and missing soldiers).
